We didn't plan to start a company. We just got tired of being let down by the ones we were buying from.
How It Actually Started
There wasn't a business plan or a pitch deck. It started the ordinary way around a kitchen table, after another disappointing order from somewhere else. A generator that took three weeks to arrive. A mower part that never showed up. A support line that never picked up.
At some point, someone in the family said what everyone was already thinking: we could probably do this better ourselves. So we did — slowly, without much fanfare, learning as we went.
What It Looks Like Today
Moblim is still small. We still pack orders, answer our own emails, and pick up the phone ourselves. We chose to focus on the kind of equipment that's easy to get wrong when you're far away from it riding mowers, generators, the big stuff that needs a real freight appointment, not a doorstep drop.
We're not trying to be the biggest store out there. We just want to be the one you don't have to worry about after you hit "buy."
